05.07.2007 Football tournament Waschenbach

It is that time again! On the 25th of August 2007 Formel D invites once again to the football tournament in Mühltal Waschenbach near Rüsselsheim. For the fourth time, it is all about goals, points and celebrating the winner team.

The Formel D Football tournament enjoys an ever-increasing popularity. The current champion “Teamgeist Troisdorf” is striving to win the title again this year. The so far most exciting fight for the much sought-after football cup can be expected, since various teams are claiming to win the cup.

The managing director Viola Metzner says: “All customers and employees of Formel D are warmly invited to participate in this exciting event. We want to revive the amazing vibe of the world cup last year. And the best thing: There is no exhausting qualifying round and actually there are no real losers.”

As every year we will also award attractive prizes to the top scorer and the most fancy tricot. Following the tournament  - after the duly celebration of the cup winner – we will join the local village fair called “Waschenbacher Kerb”.  There we will traditionally let the day wind down with live music.

We also care for our physical well-being. Match players and spectators are invited to have some barbecue and a choice of drinks during the tournament.

You have the opportunity to stay overnight in a nearby sports hall. Don’t forget your sleeping bag! For those who are rather staying at a hotel we enclosed a list of hotel recommendations at the end of the page. There you will also find a location plan.
