When Formel D was founded in 1993 our service concentrated mainly on technical documentation and other adjacent services such as the production of graphics and translations. It quickly became apparent that our clients were interested in a variety of other wide-ranging services that they could only realise at great expense to themselves.

We started with a total of 60 employees and currently have 1,300 qualified specialists who are supporting mainly the automobile industry, but also machine building companies and other technically oriented firms worldwide. We see ourselves as a premium service provider - from the launch of a new product over the whole product lifecycle. Our strength is to provide our clients with demand-orientated in-house services.

Formel D's services have been formally recognised: The Company was a finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year 2000, 2001 and 2003 competitions and a study carried out on behalf of Growth Plus showed that Formel D was also in the nomination list of Europe's 500 most innovative companies in the same year.
